In order to promote National Literacy Awareness Month Amy Freedman and the Young Lawyers Association presented over 40 copies of the book "Where the Red Fern Grows" to the fourth grade students of College Hill Elementary School.The students seemed excited and happy with the donation and promised to read the book.

The Texarkana young Lawyers Association is a group of approximately 50 civic minded local attornies. Along with efforts like the story above many of the young lawyers volunteer with local charities such as Harvest Texarkana. We at ExploreTexarkana.com salute them.
